Gioielli DOP at the 1st Italians Gala Dinner of We the Italians
On Monday, June 20, Gioielli DOP attended as a partner to the first Gala Dinner of We The Italians, the media company dedicated to the Italian American Community in an effort to continue to expand Italian heritage with the rest of the world.
The beautiful Gala took place at the Foreign Ministry Circle, where members of the board of the National American Foundation (NIAF) were the guests of honour. NIAF is the most important institution that represents the 20 million Italian Americans
More than 200 people attended the Gala Dinner, the attendants were personalities from the world of institutions and industry, artists and professionals, all there to celebrate the friendship between Italy and USA and to the outstanding contribution made by Italian Americans to the economy, culture and every sector of American society.
The magical evening opened with a poolside cocktail reception followed by a seated dinner on the Prato dei Cannoni. All accompanied by the national anthems, a welcoming addresses by Minister Plenipotentiary Luigi Maria Vignali, Director General for Italians Abroad of the Foreign Ministry and Chairman Emeritus of the Circolo del Ministero degli Esteri; Umberto Mucci, President of We the Italians; and Robert Carlucci, Chairman of the Board of the National Italian American Foundation.
Following this, Andrea Gumina, President of Associazione Amerigo, described the birth of the Transatlantic Investment Committee, then it was Luca Vullo’s turn on stage to perform his iconic stand up about italian gestures, to be followed by the announcement of the winners of We The Italians “Two Flags One Heart 2022”: the NIAF and Mike Piazza!
Gioielli DOP proudly contributed to the gala by giving all board members of the NIAF and the President of We The Italians an iconic good luck jewel that represents the craftsmanship of our tuscan goldsmiths as well as the Italian Heritage and traditions.
Gioielli DOP is in the constant pursuit of expanding Italian Heritage, specialties, cultures and tradition with the rest of the world. We will continue to create and participate in different activities and events in order to make our goal happen.
