Gioielli Dop ambassador of The Extraordinary Italian Style in Texas

As mentioned in our former article, Gioielli Dop has been the guest-star of the launch event of “We♥IT”, the retail format created by Nordstrom’s creative rockstar Olivia Kim and promoted with the extraordinary efforts of the Italian Trade Commission (ITA-ICE) in the US.
On March 10th, local jet-set met uptown Dallas, at the impressive Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek. The location has been selected by Nordstrom and ITA-ICE to officially celebrate the listing of 55 emerging Italian fashion brands in the Pop-In @ Nordstrom, retail areas in 4 top Nordstrom stores in Texas, fully dedicated to the promotion of fashion and accessories Made in Italy.
Gioielli Dop was honored to play the role of “Ambassador” of the talented Italian designers selected by ITA-ICE and Nordstrom. In particular, our brand grasped the attention of the photographers, fashion bloggers and journalists who attended the event, in addition to the smiley faces of local guests.
Then, all at once, the Great Beauty appeared in the ballroom: the Italian style-icon Bianca Brandolini D’Adda, ambassador of the We♥IT party. Her charming mediterranean look, combined with a sexy glance and her cosmopolitan savoir-faire fascinated the whole audience. “Never experienced such a pleasant queue”, the comment from one of the local attendees in front of the photocall.
To show off her elegant and “spicy” mood, Bianca Brandolini was wearing a 100% handmade in Italy bracelet from Gioielli Dop. Our gift to wish her good luck!
From an Italian prosecco to regional finger food, the night was delighted by a live dj-set, a creative couple with a one-of-a-kind look, busy in glaring at you and consequently typing on a vintage typewriter your short – and really amazing – bio at first sight.
We love Pasta. We love your Food Jewels!
We were proud to hear many of comments like this one from Nordstrom’s clients, staring at Gioielli Dop’s bracelets through the showcase in the main room.
We do wish to say “Thanks!” to many of you.
To Olivia Kim, thank you for being brave enough to bring us there!
To Michela Zio, Italian fashion journalist and our talent-scout.
To the whole Nordstrom’s team: buyers, marketing officers, sales assistants and PR professionals.
To FBL, partner of Nordstrom in Italy, that took care of the backoffice and logistics.
To The Extraordinary Italian Style, the social channel launched by ITA-ICE to make people aware that Italian style is top and pop, also.
To Bianca Brandolini D’Adda, for the friendly smiles and Beauty she has offered to us.
To the Italian Trade Commission of New York, especially to its director, Mr. Maurizio Forte, to his valuable team including Donatella Rosso, Gigliola Szczesny, Alessandro Greco (and many others that worked to make this project successfully happen) because they played as real game-changers.
ITA-ICE proved once again to be a booster for emerging designers and to support the new, vibrant, creative scene of Italian micro enterprises devoted to excellence in manufacturing. The partnership between ITA-ICE & Nordstrom paves the way to a new era: institutions and small firms together to bring Italian Beauty to new markets.
A startup of thirty-something guys from the very south of Italy, entering the US market with Nordstrom, just 9 months after the launch. “No way”, many would have said.
It’s reality. We made it.
Thank you ITA-ICE. Thank you very much for giving us the chance to experience our little “American Dream”.
We♥IT!
